Smartershade, window that “tints on command”

On Wednesday, December 5, 2012, I was among three hundred people gathered at Kodak’s Theater on the Ridge at 7:30 a.m. for the event “Making it Work in America: Manufacturing Next Generation Tech in the US”. The event was sponsored by Eastman Business Park (EBP) and the Innovation Accelerator. Several National Science Foundation grant-awardee start-ups showcased their technologies, including SmarterShade, Inc. of South Bend, Indiana.
