Mary Zafeiri

Mary Zafeiri is the Innovation Accelerator’s director of technical operations since June 2016.

Mary has been with Innovation Accelerator since 2012, initially as a Communications Coordinator, shortly after, as the Executive Administrator of the Organization and later as the Program Coordinator for iBridge, during the months before and following its soft relaunch in 2015. Mary’s responsibilities included written communications with multiple organizations, preparation and editing of written material, client outreach, product testing and management of resources.

Mary has worked as an English, Math and Physics tutor and as a translator of technical documents, while she has also volunteered much of her time in editing scientific publications. Her last endeavor before joining the Innovation Accelerator team was teaching Statistical Analysis to Social Sciences undergraduate students.

Mary holds a Diploma from the Electronics and Computer Engineering Department of the Technical University of Crete and a Master’s Degree in Cognitive Science from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her graduate concentration was in Social Systems. Currently, she is pursuing a second major in Electrical Engineering at the Technical University of Crete.
